Jay’s career in the financial services industry began in June 1998, when he was hired at True North Financial Services to research and analyze client portfolios. In addition to servicing his own client base, Jay remains responsible for analyzing the financial markets and the broader economy, and he assists his fellow advisors in helping to build and manage their clients' portfolios. Jay is a 1998 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003.
In his free time, Jay is a decidedly mediocre ultramarathon runner. He helps to direct several races each year for the Berkshire Ultra Running for Community Service group, raising money for a number of local and international charitable groups. A native of southern Vermont, Jay lives in Adams with his wife and their two children.
